Winter smoothie with acerola powder

For breakfast, on the go, or as a little snack – smoothies have been hugely popular for years. In winter in particular, it’s important to make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruit. A delicious smoothie offers a refreshing change and can be combined wonderfully with various ingredients. Our winter smoothie has a delicious, Christmassy flavour of cinnamon, honey and raisins. As an extra-powerful ingredient, it also contains our Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder from Biogenial. This is made from the acerola cherry, one of the world’s richest sources of vitamin C! As it comes in powder form, Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder is ideal for use in the kitchen and also adds a delicious cherry flavour. Perfect for doing your body a favour during this demanding time!

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • A few raisins
  • Honey
  • 20 g walnuts
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder
  • Warm base: 100 ml milk or almond milk

Preparation time: 10 mins

Method:

The great thing about smoothies is that they’re so easy to make! First, dice the apple and pear into small cubes. Then place them in a smoothie maker with the other ingredients, or blend until smooth using a hand blender. Stir in the acerola powder. Add cinnamon and other Christmas spices to taste, and your winter power smoothie is ready.
