1. Shipping

The following conditions apply: delivery of goods is made worldwide with restrictions for various countries; see description below.

1.1 Shipping costs

All prices are inclusive of statutory value added tax (VAT) (except net purchasers and customers with billing and delivery addresses in a non-EU country; these are shown net).

1.1.1 Deliveries within the country (Germany)

Private customers: €4 flat rate, free shipping from €30.
Business customers (customer group: retailers/therapists): €4 flat rate, free shipping from €150.

1.1.2 Deliveries abroad

We charge flat-rate shipping costs for deliveries abroad as follows:

For shipments to the European Union:

Private customers: €11 flat rate, free shipping from €130.
Business customers (customer group: retailers/therapists): €11 flat rate, free shipping from €300.

For shipments to non-EU countries (e.g. Switzerland, Norway etc.):

Private customers: €15 flat rate, free shipping from €150.
Business customers (customer group: retailers/therapists): €15 flat rate, free shipping from €400.

Also included in this category are USA, Canada, Thailand and Peru. We have regular customers there; all other non-EU countries worldwide had to be deactivated due to very high problem rates (expensive returns, fraud cases).

Delivery to France is unfortunately no longer possible due to the new bureaucratic hurdles, which would involve enormous financial and time expenditure: New information obligations for online retailers who sell goods to/in France (it-recht-kanzlei.de)

Unfortunately, more and more countries are adopting similar measures! We cannot possibly invest €500 per year in a licence for every EU country just for the permission to send our shipping cartons there. Therefore we are now removing the following countries from our shipping list (as of 12.2023): Poland, Slovak Republic, Lithuania and Greece!
Special shipping conditions apply for Austria. Delivery there is generally no problem, provided we can ship B2B, i.e. from us to the address of a trader/business.

1.1.3 Important note on customs and duties, especially for Swiss customers:

Any customs duties and import turnover tax are to be borne by the purchaser.
Here are the possible additional costs for our Swiss customers (99% of non-EU orderers):
Approx. 8% VAT, regardless of the parcel value. Customs duties are only charged from a goods value of €150, generally 11.50 CHF plus €1 / kg.

1.2 Delivery times

Unless a different period is specified in the respective offer, delivery of goods within the domestic market (Germany) takes place within 1–3 days; for deliveries abroad within 5–10 days after conclusion of the contract (in the case of agreed prepayment, after your payment instruction has been made).
Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the goods in a single consignment, unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case the delivery time is determined by the item with the longest delivery time that you ordered.

1.3 Contracted carriers

As a rule we work with the full range offered by DHL / Deutsche Post (parcels, merchandise mail, domestic and international).
Unfortunately, there is now an increasingly widespread strike culture in Germany. Especially in 2023/2024 it occurred that DHL parcels often arrived up to a week late with customers.
This happens when DHL uses Deutsche Bahn to transport their parcels, ships them internationally by air freight — and then DHL, the railway and airports strike in alternating weeks!
Due to these problems we have also opened a business account with Hermes and reserve the right, should such extremes occur again, to send parcels via Hermes instead of DHL.
Only when it is foreseeable that DHL parcels would arrive disproportionately late and if this is solely to the advantage of our customers.

1.4 Measures for your and our security

We generally recommend that customers refrain from choosing "leave in a safe place" or "leave with neighbour". If a customer chooses these options when completing the DHL options, they thereby lose both our and DHL's liability in the event of parcel loss!
Since 2021 there has been a sharp increase in fraud cases in which, for example, fake customers using a false identity choose the "leave in safe place" option themselves in order to fraudulently take possession of packages there. Therefore, in case of doubt we will decide ourselves whether to comply with this request or whether, for higher-value parcels, we will choose the options "personal delivery" or "IdentCheck". Parcels with a value over €400 will only be dispatched if the purchaser provides their date of birth, as otherwise an "Ident Check" is not possible. Whether an Ident Check is necessary will be decided by us autonomously on the basis of the risk profile, i.e. for example whether it is a regular customer with whom there have never been problems or an unknown new customer.
We ask for your understanding for these measures; they primarily serve to protect our customers. Identity theft has unfortunately become a widespread phenomenon on the internet. You do not avoid this by choosing a different online shop; on the contrary, we do not know of any other shop that handles it as critically and for the benefit of customers as we do.
Any additional costs charged by DHL for these services will of course be borne by us.
