Thyroid gland
The thyroid gland is a central regulatory organ of the metabolism. Without thyroid function, nothing works in the body and we literally run out of fuel. A balanced diet, which contains enough iodine in particular, is therefore essential for vitality and well-being.
Many people suffer from thyroid disorders, e.g. because a healthy diet has not worked out so well over a longer period of time, e.g. due to iodine deficiency. Or because you have an autoimmune disease such as Hashimoto's. In this case, supporting the body with a healthy diet can be even more important in order to get the problems under control or prevent them from getting worse.
An important note from us: thyroid diseases are extremely complex and there are many of them. And they have a wide variety of requirements, e.g. some require iodine supplementation, others do not.
