The acerola cherry (Malpighia punicifolia L.) is one of the fruits richest in vitamin C in the world.

It grows on small trees in tropical America. The acerola shrub has been revered by indigenous peoples since time immemorial as the ‘tree of health’. Although the sweet-and-sour acerola fruit is referred to as a cherry, botanically speaking it is a berry with three seeds.

Acerola Premium Plus is gently produced from fresh acerola cherries in a way that preserves their nutritional value. It contains more than 20% vitamin C, which is derived exclusively from acerola cherries.

Only fruit from trees on which no chemical pesticides are used is processed for Acerola Premium Plus. Soil management is carried out naturally in accordance with organic principles.
