Spirulina Premium Iron Plus – The organic alternative to iron
Spirulina Premium IRON Plus consists of 100% gently
dried, blue-green, spiral-shaped Spirulina platensis
microalgae. These thrive in highly alkaline,
mineral-rich mountain spring water at a protected solar farm
under subtropical climatic conditions. In addition to a higher
iron content, they also contain an impressive variety
of essential nutrients.
During the cultivation of spirulina, the nutrient-rich
spring water is additionally enriched with the trace element iron,
which the microalgae metabolise completely. Iron is
therefore present in an organically bound form and thus has optimal
bioavailability.
Each tablet therefore contains 1 mg of organically bound iron,
which is considerably easier to tolerate than iron that has been chemically
added (e.g. in the form of iron gluconate). It is used in
products commonly found in pharmacies and causes stomach or
intestinal problems in many people.
