Pure lecithin from sunflower seeds – rich in phospholipids and soya-free!
Sunflower lecithin contains the natural total lecithin complex (a mixture of various phospholipids) found in sunflower seeds in the highest possible concentration.
Phospholipids play a key role in nature. They act as the linking element between water and oil and possess structure-forming as well as numerous functional properties. Phospholipids are, amongst other things, components of cell membranes and play a central role in the body’s overall metabolism.
A natural source of important substances such as choline and phosphatidylserine
The phospholipids contained in sunflower lecithin are an excellent natural source of choline (from phosphatidylcholine) and phosphorus.
Choline, for example, contributes to normal homocysteine and fat metabolism and to the maintenance of normal liver function. Phosphorus, which is essential for all living organisms, is involved, amongst other things, in energy metabolism and in the maintenance of bones and teeth, and contributes to the normal function of cell membranes.
Its pleasant taste makes sunflower lecithin a versatile addition that enriches and enhances the daily diet. From a nutritional point of view, a daily intake of 10–15 grams for adults (approx. 2–3 teaspoons) is highly recommended.

Highest quality and unusual products from Freiburg
Biogenial is a small but very interesting manufacturer. Many of the products, such as fish gelatine or mineral-enriched algae, are either unique or, if there is a similar product from another manufacturer, it is not available in the same quality by a very large margin.
