Only for Germany and Austria
- We would like to point out that these tests and the shipping processes are optimized for Germany and Austria and are prepaid.
- Samples must be delivered to the German laboratory within 4 days. This cannot be guaranteed for samples shipped from other countries!
- Orders from countries other than Germany and Austria are therefore at your own risk. In this case, we only accept the payment method "Prepayment (directly to us)", as customers cannot then cancel the purchase, e.g., because the sample arrived at the laboratory unusable through their own fault. Purchases made with any other payment methods that customers could unlawfully reverse will be immediately canceled and refunded.

Comprehensive testing for heavy metals, pollutants and microorganisms
The water analysis includes testing for the heavy and light metals lead and copper, as well as the anions sodium, nitrite, nitrate and sulphate, including testing for four types of bacteria (Escherichia coli, coliform bacteria and total bacterial count at 22°C and 36°C) in accordance with the Drinking Water Ordinance.
The Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) and the Mineral and Table Water Ordinance (Min/TafelWV) set maximum limits for substances hazardous to health and thus establish clear quality standards, ensuring that tap water is also suitable for preparing food for babies and for their hygiene. However, contamination of the water often only occurs after it has passed through the domestic water connection, as, depending on the material of the pipework, this can lead to chemical reactions resulting in the release of metal ions into the drinking water. Pipes in older buildings may contain copper or even lead in particular. Chromium and nickel can be released into the water from the taps.
Drinking water from well systems may contain various metals and compounds such as sulphate, nitrite, nitrate or phosphate (phosphorus) and pose health risks. Growing urbanisation, industrialisation and agriculture, as well as domestic and industrial wastewater (e.g. sewage sludge), are further significant sources of contamination. Natural geological processes can also contaminate groundwater.
In the worst-case scenario, the still-developing immune systems and growing bodies of infants and babies in particular may even suffer long-term damage.
State-of-the-art laboratory analyses provide rapid confirmation as to whether the water is contaminated with heavy or light metals that indicate a potential health risk. The comprehensive report provides a detailed list of the individual test parameters and their associated risks. Any instances where the limit values are exceeded are clearly highlighted in a graph.
The test kit includes:
- 1 set of sampling instructions
- 1 set of instructions for retrieving results
- 1 sample accompanying form
- 1 warranty certificate
- 2 sample tubes
- 1 Post bag
How does the ordering process work?
Once you have placed your order, we will send you the test kit you have requested, along with detailed instructions. You place the water sample in a tube, send it in the provided envelope to Mediveres’ partner laboratory, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH, and will receive the test results after approximately 14 working days.
Please note that this drinking water analysis is only suitable for a single tap. Samples cannot be taken from multiple taps!
Legal notice: All samples must be taken by the client. This drinking water analysis is an indicative test which is not carried out in accordance with the current Drinking Water Regulations. The test results cannot be recognised by the authorities or in court.
Please note:
Unfortunately, it is not possible to carry out analyses on contaminated water that is cloudy or discoloured, or that contains undissolved particles (well or pond water).
In order to provide you with accurate and reliable results, water samples are required to be in a condition that meets the requirements for drinking water (tap water). Should you nevertheless send contaminated water, Medivere reserves the right not to carry out the analysis, and we will unfortunately be unable to refund the costs, as the test kit will then have been used up.| Product Type: | Medizinprodukt |

Reaching your goal better with sensible diagnostics!
Around 50 % of our customers are sent to us by their therapist and know exactly what they need. Many others have extensive medical knowledge, but many also buy "on suspicion" without really knowing exactly what they need. For these customers, it would make a lot of sense to first determine their exact needs and possible deficiencies. Customers who buy a test from us are offered a short health consultation with a nutritionist to clarify what would be the best product for them.
In addition, they receive a 10% voucher for their first purchase after receiving their test result. And we are happy to put them in touch with the expert therapists with whom we are in contact. As a retailer, we are only allowed to provide limited information, even though we are qualified to do so. This is regulated by law because of the conflict of interest between sales and therapy, which is why doctors, for example, are not allowed to sell medicines or vitamins.
