Pure L-arginine in vegan capsules
There are around 500 amino acids in nature. Of these, twenty are amino acids that serve as building blocks for protein in the human body; they are called "basic amino acids". These basic amino acids can be categorised as "essential", "semi-essential" and "non-essential". L-arginine is a semi-essential amino acid, which means that the body can partially produce it itself, but is partially dependent on food intake to cover its daily requirements. In adults, the body produces arginine itself from the amino acids ornithine, glutamine, glutamate and proline; however, the amount of arginine ingested with food contributes significantly to the total intake of arginine. As the body's own synthesis is not yet sufficient, arginine is an essential amino acid for children and adolescents.
L-arginine is integrated into proteins and can be converted into other amino acids such as ornithine and proline. Arginine is also the only substance from which the biochemical signalling substance nitric oxide (NO) is produced. Arginine also serves as a precursor for creatine and polyamines.
The natural L-form is used in this product, not the synthetic D-form.

L-arginine HCl, vegetable capsule (pullulan, from fermented manioc starch), anti-caking agent (rice fibres).
Recommended dosage
As a food supplement for adults, take 1-2 capsules per day with water between meals (at least half an hour before or two hours after eating).
Storage instructions
Store in a cool, dry place away from light (not in the refrigerator).
