CTN 100 Creatine, 500 grammes

WOSCHA CTN 100 powder: Creatine without additives

Creatine is important for the normal function of the mitochondria, which act as the power stations of our cells. The nutrient plays a direct role in many metabolic processes, especially in cells and organs with high energy requirements. The creatine it contains

  • improves physical performance during high-speed strength training during short-term intensive physical activity*
  • promotes muscle growth during intensive strength training**
  • increases the effect of strength training on muscle strength**
  • can counteract the loss of muscle mass and strength in combination with strength training**

* this positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 3 g creatine
** in adults over 55 years of age, after at least three weekly strength training sessions over a period of several weeks and a daily intake of 3 g creatine

WOSCHA CTN 100 powder contains pure, unbound, pharmaceutical grade creatine

WOSCHA CTN 100 powder is made up of 100% unbound and anhydrous creatine. Compared to the well-known creatine monohydrate, this means that it contains up to 30 per cent more creatine!
Inexpensive creatine powders often contain undesirable substances. Such as the degradation product creatinine or harmful substances such as mercury. Our preparation is free from impurities as it is manufactured in Germany according to pharmaceutical standards. WOSCHA CTN 100 powder is vegan and halal certified and contains no additives. You therefore get a completely pure creatine powder that delivers optimum effects
Creatine is well tolerated at a recommended daily dose of 3 grams, even with long-term use.
Note: As creatine is not soluble in water, it can flocculate in drinks. This has no influence on its effect, as creatine dissolves in the stomach. If the powder settles to the bottom, simply stir again.

What exactly is creatine?

Our body can produce creatine itself from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. This does not even fulfil half of the daily requirement of around 5 grams of creatine. We are therefore dependent on supplementary food intake.
Animal foods mainly contain creatine. Also in meat, sausage products, fish and seafood. The risk of a creatine deficiency is therefore particularly pronounced for vegans and vegetarians as well as for people who only occasionally consume animal products. Age also plays an important role. As their intake of the amino acids necessary for the formation of creatine is no longer sufficient, older people often have a creatine deficiency. In addition, energy conversion in the mitochondria no longer works as well as it did in youth

What effects does creatine have on the body?

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a molecule that contains three phosphate groups. Our cells need the energy that is released when a phosphate group is split off. In particular, nerve cells and our muscles (including the heart muscle) need a lot of energy - and therefore a lot of ATP.
During intense physical exertion (such as preparing for exams, stress or hard work at work/sport), such a large amount of energy is required that our body can no longer keep up. In these situations, creatine regenerates the ATP broken down to adenosine diphosphate (ADP) in a very short time
To achieve this, a phosphate group is bound to the creatine in our cells. The creatine phosphate (also known as phosphocreatine) formed from this acts as an energy reserve, as it can release its phosphate group again in fractions of a second. This means that the energy supply remains uninterrupted even when demand increases

Where is creatine found?

Creatine, in the form of creatine phosphate, is mainly stored in the brain, skeletal muscles and the heart. For this reason, it is particularly popular with athletes

Who is creatine suitable for?

It is recommended that all people who have a high creatine consumption (competitive and amateur athletes, people with physically demanding work), who do not consume enough creatine in their diet (vegetarians, vegans and older people) and who do not utilise or produce enough creatine (including older people and people with a genetic defect) should be offered a creatine supplement. Studies have shown that creatine has a positive effect on general well-being in all these groups of people
