Chromium acts as a kind of door opener into the cell. If there is a lack of chromium, the sugar is not transported into the cell and the blood sugar rises. Why picolinate?

Picolinate is the name of the organic picolinic acid. If chromium is bound to picolinate, it can be optimally absorbed by the body; chromium picolinate is considered the most active form of chromium absorption.

Stress or physical exertion in particular lead to a high consumption of chromium. However, many people find it difficult to absorb enough chromium from food.
