DMG (N, N-dimethylglycine or pangamic acid) is a vitamin-like amino acid and, together with gluconic acid, is important for the formation of pangamic acid. In the past, both acids were categorised as B vitamins due to their refreshing effect on the human organism and referred to as vitamin B15 - with pangamic acid being considered the more active part.
