High-dose selenium in liquid form

Multi-talented selenium - Selenium occurs as a trace element in numerous enzymes and therefore has many different functions in our body, including being a component of antioxidant enzymes, contributing to a normally functioning immune system and normal hair and nails. However, it is also particularly well known for its role in the thyroid gland. There, as a cofactor, it contributes to the conversion of the thyroid hormone T4 into the active T3 form. Selenium is vital, but cannot be produced by the body itself. It must therefore be obtained from food and makes it advisable to pay particular attention to ensuring an adequate supply.

We get most of our selenium from plant-based foods, which in turn have drawn it from the soil. Unfortunately, this is also where the problem lies. This is because the selenium concentration in the soil varies greatly from region to region and even across regions. Another source can be found in animal foods. However, this is understandably not an option for a vegetarian or vegan diet.

Vital's selenium for direct action

Vital's selenium is highly dosed and therefore particularly effective. The inorganic form (sodium selenate) ensures a direct biological effect.
If you want to remedy a general selenium deficiency, organic selenium yeast is particularly suitable. This has a more indirect effect and is more suitable for replenishing a long-term empty store.
Selenium from sodium selenite, on the other hand, is immediately available and has a more precise and exact effect, but should also be dosed more carefully and specifically. Particularly economical and long-lasting support for the selenium supply.

Ingredients

Purified water, seawater concentrate (CMD), acidifier (citric acid), sodium selenate, preservative (potassium benzoate [<0.1 %]).

Consumption recommendation

Take 1 ml per day with the Opti-Dose dropper (1 pipette = 1 ml). Add the drops to (approx. 200 ml) water, fruit juice or food. Shake before use.

Store in a cool, dry place away from light (not in the refrigerator).
