Experiment: free shipping!

Free is nice, but not always useful!

According to studies, customers love free shipping. And they especially love it when it's easy, so "zero" is more understandable than "so many euros shipping costs for orders up to so many and less or free etc. etc.".

And of course we love it when we have less work to do, e.g. with invoicing, and when customers visit us more often than in other shops.

That's why we're now testing whether we can generally offer free shipping in Germany for the next few weeks!

If this works well, we can keep it that way.

If not, e.g. if lots of customers buy a tin of chewing gum with free shipping and we make a huge loss, we'll have to change it again.

But for now, we assume that it will be good! So more customers will buy, but they won't just stay in the lowest price range.

Our lucrative volume discounts will certainly help. Whether with or without shipping costs, with us it is always worth taking a little more and saving, for example, 5% on 2 or more items or 10% on 5 or more items. Just note the best before date, which we openly state in the shop, unlike 99% of all online shops with food or food supplements!

Update 09.08.2021:

There are now 2 months of experience with "free shipping on everything".

In the beginning it looked good, i.e. a very small proportion of customers who ordered under 20 euros, i.e. the area where it slowly becomes a minus business to then also donate 5 euros actual shipping costs.

Unfortunately, the proportion of very small orders has increased in the meantime. It's really no longer worth selling a wooden toy for 4 euros or a tin of chewing gum for 6.70 euros without shipping costs if we then have to pay the actual 4-5 euros ourselves. And the PayPal fees. And the shipping boxes. And and and ..
And unfortunately, some people have also started to order the same low-priced product postage-free every few weeks, even though it has a best-before date of 2 years. Of course, you can't keep up an offer like that!

So "free postage for everything" won't be possible for much longer. Or rather, it's only down to the fact that I haven't yet found the time to reprogramme everything again.

But the new concept will definitely be more than fair. We'll start by collecting all the shipping costs that other shops that also stock our brands have - and then make ours even cheaper!

This means that we will soon be raising the shipping costs to 4 euros from 30 euros, which means that we are still one of the cheapest suppliers of these brands.
On the other hand, we also offer quantity discounts from 1 piece, which almost none of the other shops offer!
And thanks to our unique best before date display system, you can easily plan your stock so that you can take advantage of the quantity discounts, but also be sure not to order too much.
