Highly concentrated omega-3 fatty acids from marine fish with DHA/EPA
Each capsule contains more than 550 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA). NATUR VITAL fish oil is obtained exclusively from marine fish (sardines and anchovies) caught in the cold, oxygen-rich waters of the South Pacific off New Zealand. To avoid contamination with environmental toxins and heavy metals, the liver of the fish is not processed.
Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to our health with the following scientifically substantiated health claims:
- DHA helps maintain normal brain function.
- DHA helps to maintain normal vision. A daily intake of at least 250 mg DHA shows this positive effect.
- EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. A daily intake of at least 250 mg EPA and DHA has this positive effect.
- DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal blood pressure.
- A daily intake of 3 g EPA and DHA has this positive effect.
- DHA and EPA contribute to the maintenance of normal triglyceride levels in the blood. This positive effect occurs with a daily intake of at least 2 g EPA and DHA.

Ingredients
Fish oil concentrate, bovine gelatine (capsule shell), glycerine (humectant), alpha-, gamma- and delta-tocopherols (antioxidants).
Recommended dosage
1-2 capsules daily. Fish oil is best tolerated if the capsules are taken unchewed with meals.
Note
It is important that the combined daily intake of EPA and DHA does not exceed 5 g. So far, studies have only demonstrated the positive effects of fish oils, but quantities in excess of this would be too much of a good thing and could be detrimental to health.
