Microbiological examination of the intestinal flora for fungi and beneficial and harmful bacteria.

Quantitative bacteriological and mycotic stool examination: aerobic and anaerobic intestinal flora, yeasts, moulds, pH value; incl. detection of Clostridium difficile.

The stool fora is composed of numerous different components. These provide information on all external factors that affect the intestinal flora. The extent of the changes in the stool flora provides information about the severity of the cause, but does not allow conclusions to be drawn about specific diseases. The analysis of the stool flora is therefore particularly suitable as a lice control in the case of gastrointestinal diseases or diseases with a multicausal origin, such as neurodermatitis.

The results can be used as the basis for an individual therapy with the aim of restoring healthy intestinal flora. However, this should only be done after consultation with a doctor or therapist.
