Hyaluronic acid, the lubricant and filler in joints and skin
Hyaluronic acid is an important component of joint fluid and forms the main component of connective tissue. With its ability to bind large quantities of water, it also ensures the skin's moisture content.
Echt Vital contains this as a mono-product, i.e. not as part of a formulation, as is the case with most manufacturers.
This has the advantage that it can be used, for example, to enhance other food supplements that have a good formula but you would like to add a little more hyluronic acid. Or for people who prefer to take a single substance.

Hyaluronic acid: You have several similar products to choose from, which one should I take?
As a mono-product or in complex formulations with similar substances
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that can be produced by the body itself. However, the ability to synthesise it decreases with increasing age. The reason for this is that oestrogens stimulate hyaluronic acid production in the body. From around the age of 40, however, the oestrogen level decreases and therefore also affects hyaluronic acid production.
The body contains approx. 15 g of hyaluronic acid. It can also be obtained from foods rich in hyaluronic acid such as mackerel, gilthead seabream and eel, as well as cartilage tissue from beef, pork and chicken. There are many different indications on the internet as to how much hyaluronic acid can be taken. There are studies on hyaluronic acid for amounts as low as 48 mg, but most recommendations are in the range of 120 mg to 240 mg daily.
We offer mono-products that only contain hyaluronic acid. However, it can also make sense to take it together with other substances that also occur naturally in the skin and joints, such as glucosamine, collagen, chondroitin and MSM. Frankincense is also a useful supplement to hyaluronic acid.
