Krill oil from high-quality Antarctic krill
NATURA FELIX Krill Oil helps your brain, heart and eyes to function properly. It is rich in omega-3 fats, which are very important for these organs. These fats are better absorbed by the body than those in fish oil because they are bound to phospholipids and can enter the cells directly. Your brain benefits particularly strongly from this, as krill oil is six times more effective there than fish oil. Krill oil also contains a lot of astaxanthin.
NATURA FELIX krill oil is an excellent source of the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
It
- helps your brain to function normally
- supports the normal function of your heart
- contributes to the maintenance of good eyesight
- is up to six times more effective than the same amount of fish oil
- contains natural astaxanthin
- does not cause fishy burping
NATURA FELIX Krill Oil from the Antarctic works particularly quickly and effectively. The krill oil comes from Aker BioMarine AS, the world's leading supplier and the only one to have the MSC seal for sustainable fishing.
The krill of the species Euphausia superba comes from the pure waters of the Antarctic. The company has developed a special fishing method called "Eco-HarvestingTM" to minimise the environmental impact of the catch. The krill is brought to the ships alive and without other marine animals via a suction pipe.
Aker documents the entire production process of Superba Krill Oil - from the catch to the finished product - in great detail and makes this public on its website. This openness towards the public is unique and shows once again how important the quality of its product is to the company.
What are the advantages of krill oil compared to fish oil?
In contrast to fish oil, the omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA from krill oil are bound to phospholipids. This has several advantages:
- We can absorb krill oil much faster than fish oil because, unlike triglycerides, phospholipids are water-soluble, which means the body can utilise it better because no conversion by enzymes or bile acids is necessary.
- Krill oil does not lead to fishy belching as its phospholipids are well distributed in the stomach and do not collect on top.
- The omega-3 fatty acids in the blood reach higher concentrations, which is also due to their good solubility.
- Krill oil works better than fish oil because its valuable omega-3 fatty acids are quickly absorbed into the cell walls, which is particularly beneficial for our brain cells. Our brain can absorb omega-3 fatty acids from krill oil six times better than from fish oil.
- Krill oil has a longer shelf life because it contains more astaxanthin, which is a natural preservative.
The recommended amounts are:
- To cover the basic requirement of omega-3 fatty acids and to compensate for slight deficiencies, take 150 mg EPA and DHA daily.
- These amounts are recommended for the best possible support of various body parts and functions: For a healthy heart, take 250 mg of EPA and DHA daily.
- For normal brain function and good vision, take 250 mg DHA daily.
- For healthy triglycerides and normal blood pressure, we recommend our very high-dose WOSCHA High EPA/DHA product. The reason for this is that well over 10 krill oil capsules a day would be necessary for these purposes. This is because krill oil only contains a small amount of DHA.
With other krill oil products, you should check the quantities of active ingredients carefully! A 500 mg krill oil capsule does not contain 500 mg DHA, but only 40 to 45 mg. For technical reasons, more is not feasible!
It is highly recommended to regularly consume omega-3 fatty acids.
Krill oil is the best source of omega-3 to maintain our brain function. It is also beneficial for our heart and eyesight.
An adequate intake of omega-3 fatty acids is particularly important for mothers. This has been shown to promote brain and eye development in unborn and breastfed babies.
NATURA FELIX Krill Oil is particularly suitable for the daily supply of omega-3 fatty acids because it is much more effective than fish oil.

High-quality formulations from the Netherlands
Podo medi's products are significantly influenced by the naturopathic experience of its co-founder Wolfgang P. Schallmey. However, he has been retired since 2020, which is why the "Woscha" brand has become the "natura felix" brand. The tried-and-tested recipes will remain largely the same. In addition to the logo, the packaging of many products will change significantly. The company is increasingly switching from plastic to more environmentally friendly cardboard cans.
