At 20 %, L-glutamine is the largest proportion of amino acids in our body. It is mainly found in muscle cells, where it is also produced.
As an important component for the production of proteins, L-glutamine plays a central role in the metabolism of plants, animals, fungi and bacteria. It is found in large quantities in wheat protein, dairy products, soya (soya protein) and maize (maize protein).
