Alkaline vitamin C plus magnesium
In magnesium ascorbate, ascorbic acid is bound to magnesium, which buffers the ascorbic acid and makes it more tolerable
better tolerated, the pH value is neutral. There is no feeling of hyperacidity in the stomach.
The body splits the compound into vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and magnesium in order to supply these two essential substances to the metabolism.
Most manufacturers use a variant of magnesium ascorbate that tastes bitter. Podomedi has deliberately opted for a slightly more expensive, but not bitter-tasting variant, magnesium L-ascorbate 2-hydrate.
