Magnesium oil is not an oil, but is often labelled as such because its consistency leaves a soft and pleasant feeling on the skin...similar to that of an oil. However, magnesium oil is actually a magnesium chloride solution.

Magnesium oil is extracted from the source of the Zechstein Sea. The Zechstein Sea is a shallow epicontinental sea that existed around 258-250 million years ago (Zechstein Formation) in what is now Central Europe. It extended over an area of approximately one million square kilometres from what is now England to what is now the Baltic and from what is now the northern North Sea region to what is now south-west Germany.

At the end of the Rotliegend period, the lower stage of the Permian, subsidence of the earth's crust occurred in northern Central Europe and the Zechstein Sea became well protected beneath the earth's surface. The Zechstein Sea is considered to be a pure, natural source of magnesium chloride worldwide.

Genuine Vital Magnesium Oil consists of a 32% magnesium chloride solution from the source of the Zechstein Sea and 68% water (energised in 15 stages according to Peter and Max Gross). Evaporating sea water leaves behind magnesium chloride and sodium chloride (common salt). By removing the table salt, pure, natural magnesium chloride is obtained. The water in Echt Vital Magnesium Oil is naturally energised according to the findings of Peter and Max Gross.

Magnesium oil is used externally, e.g. as a massage or foot bath.

Application

Massage the limbs: Apply to arms and legs daily in the morning and evening, massage in gently, leave on for 15 - 20 minutes, shower off. Foot baths: Approx. 100 ml NATURE HEART MAGNESIUM OIL to 5 - 6 litres of lukewarm water. Duration of foot bath: 45 - 60 minutes. When selecting the bucket, make sure that the water level reaches up to the calves.
