Sounds illogical, but it is!
It is not the alcohol in red wine that is healthy, but the large number of secondary plant substances such as OPC or resveratrol. These are found in the red outer layers of the grape and the red "colour" that gives red wine its appearance is itself such a substance.
It therefore makes no sense to try to achieve this effect with white wine or alcoholic beverages such as schnapps - it doesn't work.
But alcohol is still alcohol! The healthiest way to benefit from the valuable substances of the grape is still unfermented.
