Omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA
Microalgae are the original source of the two important omega-3 fatty acids DHA (docosaenhexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).
Cold-water fish use the algae as food and therefore contain a considerable amount of these vital fatty acids. The DGE recommends two fish meals a week.
Vegetable oils (such as linseed, rapeseed or walnut oil) also contain one of the omega-3 fatty acids: the essential alpha-linolenic acid. However, the body can only produce DHA and EPA from this to a limited extent and in small quantities.
Natur Vital Omega3 Vegan contains an oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium, which is rich in DHA and EPA.
Just 2 capsules cover the daily requirement of these two fatty acids and support health in a variety of ways.
Since even the capsule shell does not contain gelatine, which is often used in oils, Natur Vital Omega 3 Vegan is completely vegan.
