Kaneka Q10 - Ubiquinone of the best quality
Q10, or coenzyme Q10, is a natural substance found in the mitochondria of all body cells. The fat-soluble compound is called ubiquinone, which can be translated as "present everywhere". The body obtains Q10 from two sources: its own production and food. In certain situations in life, the body's own production of Q10 is not sufficient to cover the requirement, which is why nutrition plays a greater role. This is why Q10 is considered a (semi-)essential nutrient. After taking Q10, it is predominantly converted into ubiquinol. If you use a dietary supplement with ready-made ubiquinol (as in the Vitals products Ubiquinol 50 mg and Ubiquinol 100 mg), this conversion process is not necessary.
In addition to a high Q10 content, the product also contains natural vitamin E, d-alpha-tocopherol. Vitamin E is an important (fat-soluble) antioxidant in the body and helps to maintain healthy cells and tissues by contributing to the protection of cells from oxidative damage.
