The Rehmannia root formula is one of the most famous formulas in China. It is derived from the recipe "Liu Wei Di Huang Wan". The tea recipe has its origins in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). The traditional stories about this recipe describe it as a tonic to prevent yin deficiency, loss of energy and exhaustion.
