There are over 130 species within the Rhodiola plant genus. The best-known and best-studied species is Rhodiola rosea, also known as rose root, which is found in cold Siberia, among other places. Rhodiola has been used as a herbal remedy for more than 2000 years. Rhodiola has an adaptogenic effect. This means that Rhodiola can help to maintain stress resistance in stressful situations. Rhodiola-LF from Vitals contains the high-quality extract Rhodiolife®, which contains 5 % rosavins and 1.8 % salidroside, the main components of rhodiola.
Fatigue can occur after a stressful period. Rhodiola helps with stress-related fatigue by supporting ATP production in the mitochondria. Rhodiola is also beneficial for cognitive functions such as learning ability, memory, attention and concentration.
