The microalgae used for SPIRULINA PREMIUM thrive under controlled ecological conditions in the nutrient-rich spring water of a protected sun farm on the edge of a nature reserve in Taiwan, far away from polluting industrial settlements.
In addition to the direct, intense sunlight, the purity of the air and the nutrients supplied, the purity and quality of the water has a decisive influence on the quality of the microalgae. Biogenial's spirulina comes directly from the only farm in the world that uses only the purest, mineral-rich mountain spring water (with additional energy enrichment via a waterfall) from a nearby spring to cultivate the microalgae.
Under the subtropical sun, natural photosynthesis from the nitrogen and carbon dioxide in the air produces the valuable ingredients of this easily digestible nutrient-dense food: a unique combination of high-quality proteins (with all 8 essential amino acids), vitamins, organically bound minerals and trace elements, essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, secondary plant substances (carotenoids) and other photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll, phycocyanin).
