Children have a much lower zinc requirement than adults.

Spirulina zinc not only has the advantage that it is very easy to dose, as one pellet only contains 1 mg of zinc.
It is also more favourable from a psychological point of view, as children associate an algae tablet less with "medicine" than capsules can also be easily crushed again in a mortar, as they are nothing more than pressed powder, i.e. without the addition of binding agents or coatings.
This means that children are not taught the behaviour or mindset that you "have to take something" to stay healthy and fit, and children with swallowing problems or an aversion to tablets can also be encouraged to take them.
