Sunflower lecithin contains the natural lecithin complex (a mixture of various phospholipids) from sunflower seeds in the highest possible concentration.
Phospholipids play a key role in nature. They are the connecting element between water and oil and have structure-forming and numerous functional properties. Phospholipids are components of cell membranes, among other things, and play a central role in the entire metabolism.
Natural source of important substances such as choline or phosphate hydilserine
The phospholipids contained in sunflower lecithin are an excellent natural source of choline (from phosphatidylcholine) and phosphorus.
Choline contributes, for example, to normal homocysteine and fat metabolism and to the maintenance of normal liver function, while phosphorus, which is essential for all biological organisms, is involved in energy metabolism and the maintenance of bones and teeth and contributes to the normal function of cell membranes.
The pleasant flavour makes sunflower lecithin a versatile enrichment and enhancement of the daily diet. From a nutritional point of view, an average daily intake of 10-15 grams for adults (approx. 2-3 teaspoons) is highly recommended.
