Vitamin B12 in active form

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) was first discovered in 1948. It is a very complex, large molecule and is required for the development of all cells in the body. Nerve cells in particular suffer from a deficiency. The best-selling B12 is the artificial cyanocobalamin. Although this is effective, it is not optimal as it first has to be converted for absorption, releasing the not entirely uncritical cyanogen compound (better known as hydrocyanic acid). Methylcobalamin is the form required by the body and is much better absorbed without conversion.

Vital's vitamin B12 is therefore already present in the active form and can be optimally absorbed. The cherry flavour of the lozenge is not only pleasant, but also increases absorption through the oral mucosa due to the long retention time in the mouth.

Ingredients

Sweetener (mannitol and xylitol), firming agent (hydroxypropyl cellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids), cherry flavour, acidity regulator (citric acid), methylcobalamin.

Recommended intake

Dissolve 1 lozenge per day under the tongue.
