St. Helia's Wild Yams Forte supports the special needs of women over 40. It contains 800 mg of extract from the very rich Dioscorea opposita yam root per dose. The diosgenin naturally contained in the yam root supports the body's own production of DHEA DeHydroEpiAndrosterone. Diosgenin, in combination with the body's own hormone progesterone, is important for the balance of oestrogen and testosterone.
