Echt Vital Zinc in drops is easy to dose and is also ideal for people with swallowing problems.
The dosage specified by the manufacturer should not be exceeded, but it may make sense to take less:
- Children and adolescents have a different zinc requirement than adults. This should not be exceeded, as although zinc is vital, it is not a substance that can be taken in large quantities without hesitation.
The respective recommendation for groups of people according to the DGE should be observed.
Especially with small children, it is essential to adhere to this, as the principle of "a lot helps a lot" is absolutely out of place with zinc. The recommended daily portion according to LMIV has been derived from the values for adults! - In Switzerland, a maximum of 5 mg per daily dose is permitted for food supplements, so please note our different recommended intake for the Swiss.

Add 10 drops to a glass of water daily and drink. When consumed pure, the flavour is sour and bitter.
Recommended dosage Switzerland
Add 3 drops (approx. 4.5 mg) to a glass of water daily and drink.
Storage instructions
Store in a cool, dry place away from light (not in the refrigerator).

What is the weight or volume of a drop?
For oils and aqueous solutions in dropper bottles or those with pipettes, drops are a popular and practical way of indicating quantities. Unfortunately, however, they are in fact very imprecise.
If you want or need to know the exact amount for dosing and planning your medication or food supplements:
A drop of water has approximately 0.05 ml or 0.05 g or 50 mg.
Oil has a different density and a different dripping behaviour than water. Therefore:
One drop of oil has approximately 0.04 ml or 0.35 g or 35 mg.
