Highly concentrated bacterial cultures for the balance of the intestinal flora
The human intestinal flora is made up of countless microbes whose composition is largely responsible for efficient digestion and a strong immune defence. The composition of NATURA FELIX BioBalance 3 is based on three scientifically proven bacterial strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum. There are numerous randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews that prove a positive influence on the diversity and function of the intestinal flora.
In addition, the bacteria are packaged in capsules that are microencapsulated, freeze-dried and enteric-coated.
In addition, precise overfilling of the capsules ensures that the specified bacterial counts are reliably achieved, even after a long storage period.
- 32.5 billion bacteria per capsule for the precise promotion of intestinal flora.
- 30% overdose, stable bacterial count until the best-before date Microencapsulated, freeze-dried bacteria - high chance of survival in the digestive tract Suitable for supporting the intestinal flora and microbiome
The bacterial strains contained in BioBalance 3 have been specifically selected: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium longum are characterised by their ability to support different sections of the digestive tract and perform specific tasks there.
- Lactobacillus acidophilus is mainly found in the terminal ileum (the last section of the small intestine). By fermenting various carbohydrates into lactic acid, it lowers the pH value in the intestinal lumen. This change is associated with physiological effects on the microbiome and the intestinal environment.
- Bifidobacterium bifidum is mainly found in the large intestine and metabolises indigestible dietary fibres. Short-chain fatty acids such as acetate, propionate and butyrate are formed, which are important for the energy metabolism of intestinal cells.
- Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum is found in the small and large intestine. It is able to break down complex dietary fibres that are indigestible for humans. Here, too, short-chain fatty acids such as acetate, propionate and butyrate are produced, which are utilised by the cells of the intestine as a source of energy.
These three bacterial strains together provide targeted support for various functions of the intestinal flora: they take up space in different areas of the digestive system, break down various food components and produce specific metabolic products such as butyrate, acetate or lactic acid. The variety of mechanisms of action contributes to microbial stability and the functionality of the intestinal ecosystem.
To ensure that the microorganisms remain viable until they are released in the small intestine, they are microencapsulated and freeze-dried. A gastro-resistant capsule shell provides additional protection against stomach acid. To take account of the natural losses that can occur during storage and transport, each capsule contains around 30 % more cultures than stated. This means that the stated bacterial count remains stable until the end of the shelf life.
Aspect of price-performance ratio and quality
BioBalance 3 offers a high bacterial count, transparent labelling and contains no additives. It is one of the cheapest products in its class, with a price of around 2 cents per billion microorganisms - while maintaining the same high quality of raw materials and stability. BioBalance 3 stands for a decision in favour of clear composition, uncompromising purity and responsible product quality - for all those who know what is important.
