For dosing oils, liquids and drops
Do you know this too?
- Dropper bottles where nothing comes out.
- Oils where you are supposed to take exactly 10 ml "or approx. 1 tablespoon", which is highly inaccurate and causes enormous problems, especially with a somewhat shaky hand.
- Dosing pipettes that are supposed to contain exactly 1 ml but have no measuring line.
Here is a possible solution to the problem - simply measure it with a syringe!
The material is food-safe, so it is suitable for food supplements in the form of liquids or oils.
The very small syringes allow you to measure in 0.1 ml increments.
Here is an aid to conversion:
One drop of water is approximately 0.05 ml or 0.05 g or 50 mg.
Oil has a different density and a different dripping behaviour than water. Therefore:
One drop of oil has approximately 0.04 ml or 0.035 g or 35 mg.
The large syringes are suitable for replacing the measurements "tablespoon" or "teaspoon".
"1 tablespoon" corresponds to a quantity of 15 ml, "1 teaspoon" corresponds to 5 ml.
If something has already been removed from the jar and the liquid level has dropped, the blunt syringe tip is ideal for getting it out more easily.
This is expressly not suitable for medical purposes as it is blunt.
We therefore do not sell the product as a "medical device" but merely as a technical aid for measuring oils or liquids.
Even if the syringes are offered as disposable syringes, reuse is recommended for reasons of economy. If you want to measure liquids, such as drops of herbs, you should rinse the syringe in clear water and dry it after use. A syringe that has already been used and is to be used again and still contains water residue from the last cleaning should also be rinsed with clear water before being used again.
After measuring oils, the syringe should be rinsed with a liquid that can dissolve oil. This can be pure alcohol, but if this is not available in the house and you like to enjoy high-proof spirits anyway, it can also be a schnapps or other high-proof spirits.
The limit of use is reached when the syringe can no longer be drawn up easily.
The idea of using a syringe as a dosing aid came to us when we were taking our own medication or food supplements for the same reason, i.e. extremely impractical consumption instructions for drops and oils.
It is therefore experimental and we accept no liability for the application of this idea. This is the responsibility of each individual.
Sturdy PET material, reusable, easy to wash. The syringes have an adapter onto which the needle is simply inserted. This makes it easy to clean the needle. The plungers are easy to press. The material is food-safe.
