HCL Gastro is a combination of betaine HCL with pepsin and an excellent stomach tonic. A normal stomach acid level is important to enable optimal protein digestion (e.g. from meat) and to destroy bacteria. Betaine also contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
How does EnergyBalance HCL Gastro work?
Underproduction can lead to bacterial and parasitic intestinal infections. HCL Gastro promotes good protein digestion and reduces flatulence and belching after meals. A regular intake of HCL Gastro ensures good absorption of calcium, iron and vitamin B12, among other things.
Betaine contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
