Halloween cookies made from acorn flour
Halloween is just around the corner, so I decided to make "spooky" Halloween cookies from acorn flour

Halloween cookies made from acorn flour
Ingredients
- 140 g melted butter
- 90 g (normal) flour
- 90 g acorn flour (available from us)
- 50 g icing sugar
- grated zest of one orange
- three tablespoons of orange juice
Preparation
- Place the sifted flour in a bowl, add the icing sugar, grated orange zest, three tablespoons of orange juice and melted butter. Mix all the ingredients well and knead into a dough.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for approx. 30 minutes.
- The dough is then formed into balls, flattened, placed on baking paper and moulded.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C for 18 to 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the biscuits.
