Doctor Bark dog bed 3.0 - due to the completely new design and integration of an orthopaedic inlay cushion, a unique feel-good experience is guaranteed. The difference in height between the lying surface and the border varies depending on the size of the bed. This results in the edge acting like a pillow and consequently the spine is straight in the resting and sleeping state. This ensures a healthy sleep.

The dog bed is completely washable at 95˚C, not just the cover, as is the case with commercially available dog pads. This guarantees absolute freedom from bacteria and mites after every wash! WASHING and CARE
Due to the divisibility of the pillow and outer bed, it may not always be necessary to wash the whole bed. This can be decided individually according to the dog's needs, e.g. whether he is a severe allergy sufferer or not.
In addition, you can use e.g. Doctor Bark cuddly blankets (also washable in the boil wash) as additional inserts and change them more often.
According to the manufacturer, a washing machine with a capacity of 5 kg is sufficient for sizes S and M, above that you need one with 7 kg.
We recommend using a slightly larger machine, as our tests have shown that this is a little tight. According to the manufacturer's specifications, it will certainly work, but if you are planning to buy a new machine anyway, it might make sense to choose a slightly larger one. Today, there are also inexpensive machines with 7, 8 or 9 kg capacity.
Procedure:
Preparation
Shake out hair and coarse dirt, possibly with the help of a hoover. This is also to protect the washing machine. Pre-treat stubborn stains with a stain spray or microfibre cloth if necessary. Turn dog beds inside out, this way the inner corners are turned outwards and the coarse dirt hidden there can be washed out easily.
Washing
If using a conventional mild detergent, follow the manufacturer's dosage instructions. Make sure that it does not contain fabric softener or silicone solvent, as this could damage the bed. If you cannot be sure, it is better to use Doctor Bark Textile Detergent & Conditioner to ensure that the bed is optimally cared for and not damaged.
Fill 50 ml of this detergent into the detergent chamber.
To ensure that the filling of the Doctor Bark dog bed has its full volume again after washing, it is recommended to fill in wash balls or normal tennis balls.
Select the basic setting "gentle cycle" with a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm.
Drying
Gently shake out your Doctor Bark dog bed. Then place the dog bedding in the tumble dryer with the wash or tennis balls. Select the "gentle drying" setting.
Without a tumble dryer, the Doctor Bark dog bed will of course also dry. Choose a warm and well-ventilated place for air drying so that your dog bed surface is dry again within 3-4 hours. During the air-drying process, shake your dog bed surface well several times and always pull it gently into shape.
