Winter smoothie with acerola powder

For breakfast, on the go, as a small snack - smoothies have been very popular for years. Especially in winter, it's important to make sure you have enough fresh fruit in your diet. A delicious smoothie is a refreshing change and can be wonderfully combined with different ingredients. Our winter smoothie tastes deliciously Christmassy with cinnamon, honey and sultanas. As an extra power ingredient, it also contains our Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder from Biogenial. This is obtained from the acerola cherry, one of the most vitamin C-rich fruits in the world! Thanks to its powder form, Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder is ideal for use in the kitchen and also provides a delicious cherry flavour. Perfect for doing something good for your body during these challenging times!

You can find our Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder and our other acerola powders, which can also be used, at the bottom of this page.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • A few sultanas
  • Honey
  • 20 g walnuts
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Acerola Premium Plus fruit powder
  • Warm base: 100 ml milk or almond drink

Preparation time: 10 min

Preparation:

The great thing about smoothies is that they are so easy to prepare! First cut the apple and pear into small cubes. Then place in a smoothie maker together with the other ingredients or finely chop with a hand blender. Stir in the acerola powder. Add cinnamon and other Christmas spices to taste and your winter power smoothie is ready.
