Coenzyme Q10 - particularly important for older people
When it was first discovered, Q10 was categorised as a vitamin. It has lost this status - which is probably also due to the fact that such categorisations are usually made for "normal citizens" aged 19-39. Since then it has been labelled a vitaminoid. Unfortunately, the body increasingly loses the ability to produce it itself from the age of 40!
