NATURA FELIX Beta Carotene Plus: The four best carotenoids to support normal vision and skin

Carotenoids, which are secondary plant substances, are responsible for the red to yellow colouring of plant parts and fruits such as tomatoes, carrots and aubergines. Many dark-coloured vegetables, especially our native kale, are also rich in carotenoids.
Beta-carotene (provitamin A) is a valuable source of vitamin A. This vitamin plays an important role for our skin and eyes. The other carotenoids are detectable in the retina of the eye, with lutein and zeaxanthin being particularly highly concentrated in the yellow spot (the area of sharpest vision).

The combination of the four essential carotenoids beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene and zeaxanthin with the effective antioxidant vitamin E

NATURA FELIX Beta Carotene Plus: highly effective carotenoids with excellent bioavailability

The beta-carotene capsules from NATURA FELIX contain carotenoids extracted in high concentrations from plants, including an algae concentrate from Dunaliella salina (with a beta-carotene content of 20 %), a tomato extract (lycopene) and a marigold extract (zeaxanthin, lutein). These natural carotenoids are much more effective than synthetic carotenoid compounds as they complement and reinforce each other.
The bioavailability of carotenoids is increased by up to 60 % by piperine from black pepper extract. The addition of vitamin E (VegeTocTM from rice oil) promotes the fight against free radicals with its antioxidant properties. All cells in our body benefit from this, but especially the skin, eyes and blood vessels.
The beta-carotene preparation is sugar-free and suitable for vegans. It contains salicylic acid (extracted from tomatoes). Natural antioxidants such as rosemary extract and vitamin C palmitate ensure that the valuable ingredients remain fresh and of high quality.

Carotenoids for maintaining normal vision

The main supplier of vitamin A in our organism is beta-carotene (provitamin A). Vitamin A helps to maintain normal vision, support sharp vision and maintain the normal moisture balance of the eyes. It also helps to maintain normal skin and is relevant for the cell differentiation of epithelial cells.

Ingredients

Dunaliella salina, ascorbate palmitate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (veg. capsule), D-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, rosemary extract, Piper nigrum, tomato extract, Calendula officinalis.

Recommended dosage

1-2 EMBO-CAPS® daily, preferably with meals. To improve skin protection against UV radiation: 2 EMBO-CAPS® daily over a period of 3-4 weeks before sun exposure.

Advice from the manufacturer

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Contains salicylic acid (tomato). Beta-carotene may have a negative effect on smokers. The study situation here is unclear. Smokers are therefore advised not to consume more than 20 mg beta-carotene per day. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not exceed a daily intake of 9 mg beta-carotene.
