Disposable syringe 10 ml + 37 mm cannula with blunt needle

For dosing oils, liquids and drops

Does this sound familiar?

• Dropper bottles from which nothing comes out.
• Oils where you are supposed to take exactly 100 drops "or approx. 1 teaspoon", which is rather imprecise and particularly problematic if your hand is a little shaky.
• Measuring pipettes that are said to contain exactly 1 ml but have no graduation marks.

Here is one solution to the problem - simply measure it with a syringe!

The material is food-grade, so suitable for food supplements in the form of liquids or oils.

The very small syringes allow measurement in 0.1 ml increments.
Here is a conversion aid:

One drop of water is approximately 0.05 ml or 0.05 g (i.e. 50 mg).

Oil has a different density and dripping behaviour to water. Therefore:

One drop of oil is approximately 0.04 ml or 0.035 g (i.e. 35 mg).

The large syringes are suitable for replacing the measures "tablespoon" or "teaspoon".

"1 tablespoon" corresponds to an amount of 15 ml, "1 teaspoon" corresponds to 5 ml.

If some liquid has already been removed from the jar and the liquid level has dropped, the long blunt stainless-steel syringe tip that can be attached is useful for getting it out more easily.
This is expressly not suitable for medical purposes because it is blunt.
Therefore we do not sell the product as a "medical device" but merely as a technical aid for measuring oils or liquids.

Although the syringes are offered as disposable syringes, reuse is recommended for reasons of economy. If you want to measure liquids such as herbal drops, you should rinse the syringe in clean water after use and dry it. Likewise, a syringe that has already been used and is to be used again and still contains water residues inside from the last cleaning should be rinsed with clean water before reuse.

After measuring oils, the syringe should be rinsed with a liquid that can dissolve oil. This can be pure alcohol; if that is not available at home and you happen to enjoy strong spirits anyway, this can also be a schnapps or other high-strength spirit.

The limit of usability is reached when the syringe can no longer be drawn up easily.

The idea of using a syringe as a dosing aid came to us while taking our own medications or food supplements for the same reason — extremely impractical dosing instructions for drops and oils.
It is therefore experimental and we accept no liability for its use. Responsibility rests with the individual.

Durable PET material, reusable, easy to wash. The syringes have an adapter onto which the needle is simply pushed. This allows easy cleaning of the cannula. The plungers are easy to press. The material is food-grade.

Please note our order limit

These syringes are intended as a dosing aid for our products. That's why we offer them so cheaply. After customers, e.g. from cosmetics companies, ordered them by the dozen — which was not the purpose of this offer or the low price — we have limited sales to a maximum of one syringe per order.

Important note: The syringes were apparently originally medical syringes; they are individually hygienically sealed and bear a minimum shelf-life date for medical products. This expired in 2025; we received the goods in this condition. However, the best-before date is irrelevant because this is now explicitly a technical article for DIY work or the measurement of liquids, therefore the best-before date is not a ground for complaint.
