Amino acids, the building blocks of life
Amino acids are the fundamental components of proteins. When we talk about proteins in food, we are actually referring to chains of amino acids, which the body breaks down and reassembles as required.
Eight amino acids are essential, which means we must obtain them from our diet. Amino-8 contains precisely these eight amino acids, each individually and precisely dosed, ensuring that the composition remains straightforward and clear, with no additional ingredients.
Just the essentials!
Most people in Germany consume enough protein overall.
Too much protein can actually put a strain on the body,
particularly the kidneys.
A completely different question is whether people are also consuming the right
proteins – or rather, the right amino acids.
Of the 20 amino acids from which proteins are formed,
we can easily produce 12 ourselves, so these are not
a concern.
The situation becomes more critical if we do not consume enough of the 8 amino acids that we cannot
produce ourselves.
This goes so far that it is not even sufficient to consume more than enough of 7 of these
amino acids, but too little of the eighth.
This would also lead to health problems within a short time.
That is why this one essential amino acid, which occurs in
the smallest quantity in a foodstuff, is known in
nutrition science is also known as the ‘limiting amino acid’. A
daily diet that contains too little of this one amino acid,
even if all the others were present, would be of no value to the
body.
It is therefore important to combine the right foods,
e.g. potatoes with eggs. One of these foods on its own would not
be ideal, because, for example, potatoes contain too much of amino acid A,
but too little of B, whilst eggs contain too much of B but too little
of A. If you were to eat only potatoes one day and only
eggs the next, you would be harming your body, as it cannot simply
store the excess for the following day. Unlike with
fat, we have no bodily store for amino acids.
But when combined, these two foods provide the perfect diet,
which you could live on for months – if it weren’t too
monotonous in the long run.
However, if you don’t have this specialist knowledge or, for certain reasons, cannot eat many foods – for example, if you’re vegan – you can still be absolutely sure that you’re getting a perfect supply of all eight essential amino acids: for example, with Echt Vital Amino-8!
The benefits of Amino-8:
- All eight essential amino acids in their purest form: Amino-8 provides only the eight essential amino acids in individual dosages – not a protein blend, but a pure mixture of essential amino acids with no other ingredients.
- Produced from plants through fermentation: The amino acids are extracted from plants and produced through fermentation, using non-GMO maize as the raw material.
- Free from magnesium stearate, fillers or preservatives: The formulation has been deliberately kept simple and contains no common anti-caking agents such as magnesium stearate, no fillers and no preservatives.
- 100% vegan and laboratory-tested: Amino-8 is vegan and its purity and quality are tested inthe laboratory, which ensures the traceability of the composition and quality control.
- Manufactured in Germany under pharmaceutical supervision : Production takes place in Germany under pharmaceutical supervision, which ensures high standards in processes and documentation.
- Effective light protection thanks to amber glass: Amber glass effectively protects the contents from light, which represents a genuine quality advantage over plastic or clear glass.
The pack contains 150 tablets, sufficient for 30 days. This allows you to plan your intake effectively and means you need to reorder less frequently.
