Amino acids, the building blocks of life
Amino acids are the fundamental components of proteins. When we talk about proteins in food, we are really talking about chains of amino acids that the body breaks down and reassembles as required.
Eight amino acids are essential, meaning we must obtain them from our diet. Amino-8 contains exactly these eight amino acids, each individually and precisely dosed, keeping the composition clear and straightforward without additional ingredients.
Only the essentials!
Most people in Germany consume enough protein overall.
Too much protein can even be a burden on the body, especially
on the kidneys.
A completely different question is whether people also consume the right
proteins, or rather, the right amino acids.
Of the 20 amino acids that make up proteins, we can
produce 12 ourselves without difficulty, so those are not the concern.
It becomes more critical when we take in too little of the 8 amino acids
that we cannot produce ourselves.
It can go so far that it is not enough to consume more than enough of 7 of these
amino acids, but too little of the eighth. That would also lead to health
damage in a short time. For that reason, the one essential amino acid that is least present
in a food is called the "limiting amino acid" in nutritional science. A
diet on a single day that contains too little of this one amino acid,
even if all others are present, would be worthless to the
body.
Therefore it is important to combine the right foods,
e.g. potatoes with eggs. One of these foods alone would not be
perfect, because, for example, potatoes have too much of amino acid A
but too little of B, while eggs have too much of B but too little of A.
If you ate only potatoes one day and only eggs the next,
you would harm your body, because it cannot simply store the excess
for the next day. Unlike fat, we have no body store for amino acids.
But both foods mixed together provide the perfect nutrition
that one could live on for months — if it were not so monotonous
in the long term.
But if you do not have this specialist knowledge or for certain reasons cannot eat many foods, e.g. vegans, you can still play it safe and ensure you are perfectly supplied with all eight essential amino acids: for example with Echt Vital Amino-8!
The benefits of Amino-8:
- All eight essential amino acids in pure form: Amino-8 provides only the eight essential amino acids in individual doses, not a protein combination, but a pure blend of essential amino acids without further ingredients.
- Made from plants by fermentation: The amino acids are derived from plants and produced by fermentation, using non-GM maize as the starting material.
- Free from magnesium stearate, fillers or preservatives: The formulation is deliberately simple and does not contain common lubricants such as magnesium stearate, no fillers and no preservatives.
- 100% vegan and laboratory-tested: Amino-8 is vegan and its purity and quality are tested in the laboratory, which ensures traceability of the composition and quality control.
- Manufactured in Germany under pharmaceutical supervision: Production takes place in Germany under pharmaceutical oversight, ensuring high standards in procedures and documentation.
- Effective light protection through amber glass: Amber glass effectively protects the contents from light, which provides a real quality advantage over plastic or clear glass.
The pack contains 150 tablets, sufficient for 30 days. This allows you to plan your intake well and means you need to reorder less frequently.
