Sango coral, belonging to the stony coral genus, originates from Okinawa in Japan. This is a Japanese prefecture comprising over 150 islands in the East China Sea. The island of the same name is the largest in the group and features wide beaches and coral reefs. All around the island, there are vast sandbanks of eroded Sango coral on the seabed.

Magnesium from Sango coral

Sango coral contains organic calcium and magnesium in a ratio of 2:1. This ensures optimal absorption by the body. Due to this special composition, Sango coral is highly effective in the remineralisation of bones, teeth, hair and fingernails.
As well as magnesium, the coral also contains over 70 other minerals and trace elements, such as magnesium, copper, silicon, boron, germanium and iron.
