A natural colour!
The CHILDREN multivitamin was developed with the aim of being as healthy and natural as possible, which is reflected in its intense colour. EnergyBalance® made sure to avoid refining methods that could alter not only the colour but also the natural properties of the vitamins. The natural colour of the vitamins is exactly the same!
Fruity flavour
Despite its particularly fruity and sweet taste, CHILDREN multivitamin is sugar-free. It is sweetened with natural fruit flavours and xylitol, which is known for its positive effects on dental health and has a very low glycaemic index.
What are we actually giving our children?
Parents are aware that what we give our children must be of high value and safe. For this reason EnergyBalance® Switzerland chose a product that is completely natural. Although the vitamin concentration is not comparable to that of synthetic multivitamins, EnergyBalance® Switzerland makes no compromises and preserves the natural properties of the raw materials contained, which serve as sources of vitamins and minerals. The CHILDREN multivitamin preparation is a tested product with HACCP certification for food safety and is considered safe.
Note on the nutritional information
The LMIV (Food Information Regulation) stipulates that the same reference values must be standardised for all food supplements. These are based on recommendations for adults. No distinction is made for products intended for children!
This leads to the rather nonsensical fact that we are forced to provide values in the nutritional table that have nothing to do with the actual needs of children; they are values that apply to adults! However, if we do not print these values, we commit an offence punishable by law – one does not have to understand it, it is one of the many absurdities of EU legislation!
Important information therefore:
- The first table corresponds to the labelling obligation for packaging and online offers in accordance with the Food Information Regulation (LMIV). With this table we fulfil the full legal labelling obligation. Some vitamins are missing from this table because, according to the LMIV, only those nutrients that are present in “relevant amounts” may be declared, whereby only amounts greater than 15% NRV are considered relevant – the NRV being the requirement for adults, which has nothing to do with the needs of children.
- The actual values for children can be found from the German Nutrition Society DGE. These were calculated by us (EnergyVital GmbH). This is not legally required, but a voluntary indication from us, not commissioned by the manufacturer.
- For practical reasons and clarity we have calculated only one likely large group of customers. Different values apply to other groups of children; please check these yourself at the DGE.

Recommended intake
Shake before use. From 3 years of age: 3 sprays per day. From 5 years of age: 5 sprays per day.
Developed for children aged 3 and over. If used for children under 3 years, please consult your paediatrician or doctor. Contains xylitol. Warning: Excessive consumption of xylitol may have a laxative effect.
