MSM is a natural source of sulphur
Sulphur, in its organically bound form, is an important component of many enzymes, cartilage, protein-rich tissues and other body structures. Methylsulfonylmethane is a normal component of the diet of humans and most animals. Sulphur is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body and accounts for 34% of total MSM. This is important because MSM provides the body with bioavailable sulphur. This sulphur is crucial for the stability and flexibility of connective tissue, hair, nails and skin. The immune system also benefits from sulphur.
OptiMSM™ is a top-quality MSM obtained through distillation. In this unique process, heavy metals and other impurities are removed from methylsulfonylmethane in four stages.
