Coenzyme Q10 in the particularly pure all-trans form
The body is exposed daily to oxidative stress and free radicals.
Antioxidants help protect the cells from oxidative influences and support the body's natural balance.
The body's own production of coenzyme Q10 begins to decline steadily from around the age of 35. Coenzyme Q10 plays an important role in the cells' energy metabolism and also acts as a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from free radicals.
The coenzyme Q10 used is obtained by natural fermentation and is present in the biologically active all-trans form. It contains no artificially produced cis-isomers and is characterised by high quality and scientifically investigated properties.
In natural maize-based fermentation, coenzyme Q10 is produced in the so-called trans configuration. This corresponds to the form that also occurs naturally in foods such as meat, fish and other foodstuffs. The quality and safety of this production method have been examined in various scientific studies.
Thanks to its natural origin, the coenzyme Q10 it contains can be well absorbed and utilised by the body. The natural all-trans form has high bioavailability and corresponds to the body's own coenzyme Q10.
Many coenzyme Q10 products available on the market, by contrast, are produced synthetically and may contain artificial cis-isomers. For this form, there is currently less data on long-term use than for naturally fermented coenzyme Q10.
