EnergyBalance Zinc has a high zinc content, is easily soluble in water and is better absorbed by the body as a citrate.

This new product from EnergyBalance contains only 5 mg zinc per capsule and is therefore much easier to dose than the EnergyBalance classic Zinc 25 mg. Many people also take other dietary supplements, such as multivitamin capsules. Since these often also contain zinc, this can otherwise easily lead to excessive intake.

Zinc is not such a “harmless” micronutrient as, for example, calcium, of which you can safely take somewhat more. Although zinc is very effective and absolutely essential for life, one can reach the maximum dose relatively quickly, above which harmful effects may occur.
Therefore, zinc should only be taken after careful consideration and preferably in consultation with a naturopath, nutritional therapist or doctor.
