Vitamin C is a well-known companion through demanding times and a component of many dietary supplements. The high proportion of vitamin C from plant sources is what gives this formulation its value. Unlike pure ascorbic acid, plant extracts provide additional valuable properties. Thus Immune Power contains, in addition to the important vitamin, secondary plant constituents such as flavonoids, anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins. For optimal synergy, extracts from southern and native fruit varieties are combined as sources. To ensure a consistently high vitamin C content, two standardised berry extracts from camu camu and acerola are used. Numerous other berries that are especially associated with the colder season are also added: schisandra, aronia, cranberry, baobab, blueberry, goji and acai.
