Herbal power from a time-honoured tradition

The main ingredient of this formulation, willow bark, has a long history in herbal medicine. As early as ancient Egypt, in classical Greece and throughout the Middle Ages the bark was valued for its beneficial effects on physical ailments. This is due to the salicin it contains, which is the basis for the production of salicylic acid. After willow bark had fallen into obscurity for a long time, it was rediscovered in the second half of the 18th century. Since then it has been receiving increasing attention in herbal medicine. Complementing the effect of the willow bark, this formulation also contains devil’s claw, poplar bark, butterbur and wormwood. The complex is rounded off by the caffeine from the guarana seeds.

Ingredients

White willow bark extract 10:1 (Salix alba contains 2.5% salicin), coating agent: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (vegetable capsule shell), guarana seed extract 1:1 (Paullinia cupana, contains 12% caffeine), butterbur root extract 10:1 (Petasites hybridus), poplar bark powder (Populus nigra), devil’s claw root extract 4:1 (Harpagophytum procumbens), anti‑caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids.
