Yam, Rhapontic rhubarb and monk’s pepper for women aged 40 and over
As the name suggests, this blend has been specially formulated for women. It is tailored to women’s specific nutritional needs, particularly around and during the menopause. The diosgenin naturally present in yam supports the body’s own production of DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone).
The root of the wild yam contains diosgenin.
This diosgenin, in combination with the body’s own hormone progesterone, is important for balancing oestrogen and testosterone.
