For the detection of specific IgE antibodies against the 27 most common childhood allergens

Laboratory analysis of capillary blood. The test covers the following allergens: grass mix, birch, mugwort, house dust mites (Dermatop.pt., Dermatoph far), cat, dog, horse and moulds (Cladosporium her, Aspergillus fum., Alternaria alt.), milk, egg white, cod, egg yolk, beta-lactoglobulin, casein, alpha-lactalbumin, BSA, soya bean, peanut, hazelnut, potato, rice, carrot and apple.

An overreaction of the immune system to substances that are actually harmless and often naturally occurring environmental components causes allergic reactions. Inhalant allergens enter the environment via the air, coming into contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose, or are inhaled.

The Allergo-Screen® Children’s Allergy Profile involves testing for the most significant inhalant allergens, such as grasses, house dust or pets. This is done by measuring allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) from a blood sample. Twenty-seven allergens that frequently trigger allergic reactions in children have been selected for this test.

How does the ordering process work?

Once you have placed your order, the test kit you have chosen will be sent to you along with detailed instructions. You place your sample in a sample container, send it in the pre-prepared envelope to Mediveres’ partner laboratory, GANZIMMUN Diagnostics GmbH, and will receive your results, including an assessment of your profile, within 5–7 days.
